40 U.S. Call Center Employers Expanding in the Midst of COVID-19 Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic has clearly put a damper on the employment market and the call center industry. Companies are struggling to find the right balance of work-from-home versus facilities-based call center workers. Social distancing requirements within call center facilities isn’t helping either. Regardless, there is still some hope out there showing the call center industry is growing based on the fact that 42,006 new call center jobs were announced in the U.S. since April of this year. Site Selection Group identified 40 companies that have announced expansion in the U.S. during this time. Hopefully this is a sign of more to come as the resilient call center industry lands back on its feet.
