Site Selection Group is pleased to announce the successful completion of a multi-market healthcare expansion across South Carolina on behalf of a client. This strategic initiative resulted in the execution of ten long-term lease transactions and the launch of multiple new healthcare facilities statewide.
The engagement, led by Alex English, Senior Director of Site Selection Group’s Corporate Real Estate team, focused on establishing a strategic real estate footprint across several South Carolina metropolitan areas. The mandate required a coordinated approach to site selection, lease negotiations, and project delivery to support the client’s aggressive clinical rollout schedule and long-term growth initiatives.
Between March and September 2024, the team completed ten lease transactions totaling approximately 100,000 square feet of healthcare space across three metropolitan areas in South Carolina. The expansion required rapid site identification, simultaneous negotiations with multiple landlords, and close coordination with construction and operational teams to ensure each facility opened on schedule.
Each location was strategically positioned within strong retail and healthcare corridors to maximize patient accessibility, visibility, and long-term demographic advantage. All ten facilities have since been delivered and are fully operational, supporting an estimated 300 new jobs across the state.
