Site Selection Group, a leading provider of site selection, real estate, and economic incentive services, is proud to have assisted Paris Baguette in selecting Burleson, Texas, as the home for its first food manufacturing facility in North America.
Paris Baguette, a renowned bakery café brand under South Korea’s SPC Group, is investing $165 million to build a 267,000-square-foot production facility in Burleson’s Highpoint Business Park. The facility will play a critical role in the company’s expansion strategy, reducing reliance on frozen dough imports and ensuring fresher product distribution across North America.
“We believe Paris Baguette found the best home for this flagship production operation,” said Josh Bays, Senior Partner at Site Selection Group. “Burleson offers a strong food production workforce, attractive operating environment, and superior logistic efficiencies.”
This significant investment is expected to create 450 new jobs and bolster the local economy. The City of Burleson and Johnson County are supporting the initiative with approximately $10 million in contributions, further enhancing the business-friendly environment that made Burleson an ideal location.
Paris Baguette’s U.S. expansion is well underway, with 57 new locations opening in 2024 and an ambitious goal of reaching 1,000 bakery cafes across the U.S. and Canada by 2030. The Burleson facility will not only serve its growing network but also support SPC Group’s subsidiary, Samlip, which specializes in mass-produced bread. Additionally, this facility will serve as a foundation for future expansion into Latin America.
