Lee Wagner named by Park Cities People as a Citizen of the Year

Dallas, TX, January 7, 2016.  Site Selection Group, a leading location advisory and economic incentive firm exclusively representing the needs of corporations, is pleased to announce Lee Wagner, along with the 21-member Facility Advisory Committee (FAC), was selected by the Park Cities People newspaper as a Citizen of the Year.

“Born and raised in the Park Cities, Lee truly has a passion for the community which has been illustrated by the dedication of his time and real estate knowledge to help the Highland Park Independent School District develop a business plan that provides the children of our community with a better environment to learn,” explains King White, CEO of Site Selection Group.

The FAC was appointed by the Highland Park Independent School District Board of Trustees in May 2014 to study the facility needs of the District and to make recommendations to the Board about how to address the needs of the future learner. Due to the dedication of the entire Facility Advisory Committee and 1.5 years of hard work, a $361 million bond package was passed to improve and update the Highland Park Independent School District facilities. This achievement was the most ambitious bond package in the district’s history thus making the FAC team, that Lee Wagner was part of, be awarded the Park Cities People Citizens of the Year.
