Site Selection Group, a leading provider of global location advisory, economic incentive, and corporate real estate services, is proud to announce the continued success of Milo’s Tea Company in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. The family-owned beverage company, known for its high-quality, freshly brewed tea and closest-to-homemade lemonade, is expanding its Spartanburg operations with a $53 million investment, creating 80 new jobs.
This expansion builds on the strong foundation established during Milo’s original site selection journey when Site Selection Group helped secure the optimal 48-acre location for their 110,000-square-foot production facility. The facility, strategically designed to serve customers across the eastern United States, will now include an additional production line and infrastructure enhancements to meet growing demand.

Site Selection Group’s collaboration with Milo’s Tea focused on optimizing its logistics network, identifying a robust labor pool, and negotiating economic incentives to maximize Milo’s return on investment. The original project secured cash grants, sales tax benefits, property tax benefits, and job development credits, and this latest expansion has garnered additional support from the Coordinating Council for Economic Development, including job development credits and a $250,000 Set-Aside grant to assist with construction costs.
